Elliott Wins His Second Late Model race in the GAS series at Cordele
Chase Elliott and the No. 9 Aaron’s Lucky Dog Dream Machine travelled to Cordele, GA over the weekend to make their sixth start in the GAS – Georgia Asphalt Series. David Ragan competed along with GAS series regular heavy hitters such as T.J. Reaid and Casey Roderick to make up some of the best racing fans have seen at Cordele. Elliott’s practice times were barely among the top five but when he took the track for his qualifying lap he picked up over 4/10th to post a time of 16.114 and took his very first pole in a Late Model car.
